Dual Nationality: SC issues notice to Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Supreme Court on Thursday issued notices to Chief Minster Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif allegedly posses dual nationality, Aaj news reported.
The court also summoned Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz who had earlier alleged that Sharif is a dual nationality holder.
Therefore, the court issued notices to both the leaders and summoned them on October 17.
The apex court, under the constitutional clauses, has already suspended memberships of several parliamentarians who were dual nationals.
The court was hearing the dual nationality case of Pakistani parliamentarians and lawmakers prior to the elections.
