KARACHI/ISLAMABAD/LAHORE: Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated with religious devotion and enthusiasm in Pakistan today (Saturday).

Following the largest gathering of Muslims in the world, Hajj, Muslims the world over are celebrating Eid with devotion and respect.

Mass prayers were held across the country, following which animals were sacrificed to fulfill the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi (Abrahamic Sacrifice).

Millions of Muslims offered Eid prayers and prayed for peace in the entire Muslim world. President Asif Ali Zardari also prayed with members of parliament.

On the other hand, Eid in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Gulf states was being celebrated with traditional enthusiasm on Friday (yesterday).

People in most parts of FATA including Mohmand, North Waziristan and Bajaur Agencies celebrated Eidul Azha with Saudi Arabia, though the official Ruet-e-Hilal Committee had announced Eid on Saturday across the country.
