MIANWALI: Former federal Minister and famous political analyst Sher Afghan Niazi died of cancer here on Thursday.
According to the sources, former minster was suffering from liver cancer since last six month. He was in comma from last four days.
Earlier, today doctors informed his family about his unstable condition.
The funeral prayer will be held on Friday (tomorrow) at 10am.
He was the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of Pakistan. He was elected to National Assembly in 2002 as a member of Pakistan People Party(Parliamentarians) but later became a turncoat and shifted his loyalty to become PPPP (Patriot) and then joined Pakistan Muslim League (Q).
Niazi joined Former President Musharraf’s newly formed political party, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML). However, he later resigned from the party following differences with the leadership.
Today, Dr. Sher Afgan Khan Niazi Died after 4 days of remaining in Coma due to liver cancer for last 6 months, on October 12, 2012.
