Govt announces Eid holidays from Oct 26-29

KARACHI: Eid Al Adha holidays for the ministries and federal institutions will start from Friday, October 26, (Friday) and end on Monday, October 29, (Monday) according to a notice issued by the Interior ministry.
Eid-ul Adha would be celebrated on October 27 Saturday in Pakistan as crescent was sighted on Wednesday in the country.
The ministry forwarded a summary to Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, who has taken final decision in this regard. With Oct 27 and 28 being Saturday and Sunday, the federal government employees will get a four-day Eid break.
