After  Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao’s daughter Gigi Chao, was bombarded with an innumerable amount of marriage proposals; she felt rather touched by his father’s public declarations.

Cecil Chao announced the financial reward of HK$500 million after his daughter, Gigi, married her same-sex partner of seven years in France earlier this year.

She says that of course her father, Cecil Chao – in a nutshell – doesn’t like his daughter being gay in the public eye; but doesn’t have any quarrels with what happens behind closed doors..

“I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind hearted,” 76-year-old Chao was quoted as saying – regarding his ideal future son-in-law; whoever that might be.

Gigi Chao says she’s touched – rather honored by her father’s announcements.
