Karachi: Five injured in clash between two groups of tankers

KARACHI: Karachi oil Tanker owners observed a strike after a clash between two groups near Port Qasim Oil terminal on Thursday, also blocked the National Highway, reported Aaj News.

According to our correspondent Abdul Rehman Farooqui, Five people were injured during the clash between two groups of Karachi oil tankers.

The injured were shifted to Jinnah hospital.

Later they blocked the National Highway and suspended all their activities.

They also gave an hour ultimatum and demanded the government to cancel all the private license of oil transporters, otherwise the association will re-block the highway and transportation across the city.

The police have reached the site to normalize the situation.
