PESHAWAR: In a letter to the PTI Chief Imran Khan, Afghan President Hamid Karzai appreciated his moves and statements to stop drone strikes in Pakistan, said PTI central committee.
“I understand very well your thinking and worrying about drone attacks”, said Hamid Karzai in a letter to the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
Besides, some local and international media reported that, Afghanistan has condemned Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan’s remarks that the war against foreign troops in that country is a “jihad”, describing it as tantamount to interference in its internal affairs.
But the central committee of the party clarified the statement, saying that the chairman PTI will himself reply Hamid Karzai upon his arrival from Turkey.
Karazai also stated in his letter that both the countries should resolve the matter of terrorism, and hopes that Imran Khan will accept his invitation to find a mutual solution of this issue.
Khan is currently in Turkey on three-day visit to meet Turk Prime Minster Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
