“No gas load shedding during Eid-ul-Azha” – Petroleum Ministry

The Petroleum Ministry has decided not to carry out with gas load shedding during Eid-ul-Azha. The nationwide continuation of gas supply at the CNG pumps would ensure smooth commuting for people during the Eid days.
The decision is taken considering that the Eid Holidays which are falling on the scheduled gas load shedding days i.e. Friday – Sunday.
According to sources, the Petroleum Ministry stated that the nation wide closure of Industries would result in excessive quantity of gas, which would thus be transferred to the CNG industry.
