“SC has backed out from its stance” – Aitzaz Ahsan

ISLAMABAD: Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has claimed that the Supreme Court has backed out from it firm stance and that it was acting really strict during Yousuf Raza Gilani’s premiership tenure.

Aitzan Ahsan while talking to Aaj News following the NRO decision by the SC on Wednesday stated the Court approved government’s reservations now and these were the same issues over which he himself had presented his stance and had comprehensively discussed the issue with the SC; but all of that went in vain and his stance was rejected by the SC at that time.

Aitzaz Ahsan was really boastful of himself while stating that his speech and stance moved the Supreme Court to change their stance over the Swiss letter issue.

Aitzaz pointed out towards the rigidity of the SC towards the case earlier stating that the former PM was not given any relief with the case and that the Court never talked about the President’s immunity.

“As per the letter, no trial would now take place; the Supreme Court has backed out from its earlier stance,” stated Aitzaz.

Aitzaz also forwarded his prediction stating that the issue would be resolved before November 14.
