Hollywood mega star, Angelina Jolie has written an article for the English news website The DailyBeast, condemning and expressing her and her children’s views over the shooting of Malala Yousufzai by TTP militants.

Angelina Jolie, wife of Brad Pitt, both stand among the few mega-celebrities Hollywood has ever produced have themselves adopted two children. One 8 years old the other only 6.

In her article, Jolie said that she shared Malala’s story with her children who were shocked and could not understand the reason why anyone would want to shoot her.

After reading Malala’s story, Brad and Angelina’s 8-year-old suggested that the world should build a statue for Malala, and create a space near it where everyone can sit and read.

While trying to explain to her children why the Taliban did not want Malala or other girls to go to school she said, it is because, “an education is a powerful thing.”

Jolie, in her article said that, “Malala’s courage reminded all Pakistanis how important an education is. Her bravery inspired their own.”

Jolie also praised Malala’s parents by saying that they are icons of bravery and strength.
