Sadiq Umrani, a prominent PPP(P) member, has accused his party-mate also the CM of Baluchistan, Aslam Raisani, of involvement in kidnappings of doctors in the province.
Umrani was speaking to the media in Quetta on Thursday, when he said that the provincial government has not succeeded in maintaining law and order in the province of Baluchistan. Instead, kidnapping for ransom and targeted killings have increased during the past few months in the province.
Sadiq Umrani claimed that about 18 activists of Pakistan Peoples Party were killed in Kalat during the past two years.
Aslam Raisani’s party membership was suspended earlier today. Umrani’s statements came out after the suspension of CM Aslam Raisani membership by the PPP’s Kalat division.
The party officials said that CM Raisani was suspended because he had not been abiding by party policies and has continuously violated them.
