ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Monday said thatthe government was committed to facilitate expatriate Pakistani community and directed the management of Pakistan International Airlines to resume flights from Glasgow to Lahore by this summer.
He was talking to a delegation of expatriate Pakistanis living in Glasgow led by Ameen Mirza, an eminent businessman.
During the meeting here at the PM House they discussed issues relating to expatriate Pakistani Community in the United Kingdom.
Ameen Mirza requested the Prime Minister for resuming Pakistan International Airline’s flights between Glasgow and Lahore to facilitate the Pakistani community living there.
The Prime Minister appreciated the role of Pakistani expatriates and said they had played an important role in economic development of the country.
Ameen Mirza thanked the Prime Minister for acceding to a long standing demand of Pakistani community in Glasgow.
