KARACHI: Cellphone services were yet suspended in various cities of Pakistan because of security concerns during the Chehlum procession of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) on Thursday.
The suspension was not only limited to cellphone services, all other wireless communication services were also barred within Karachi, Lahore and Quetta.
The cities and towns where the mobile phone service is blocked includes Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Hyderabad, Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu.
According to sources, the services were suspended from 8 a.m and would be reinstated by 10 p.m on Friday.
