Sindh government has announced a two day holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (Prophet Muhammad’s (P.B.U.H) birthday).
In a notice issued by Cheif Minister Qaim Ali Shah, all private and public schools will remain close on Thursday and Friday. Sources told Aaj TV that mobile services are expected to remain shut on Friday, to deter any security lapses.
Across the country, various mosques and buildings have been illumined with colorful lights and nalain (shoe specimen of the Holy Prohet) badges are evident on various stalls and shops. When night falls the whole country seems to have sunk in sparkling lights.
