Nabeel Gabol, a senior leader of Pakistan People’s party (PPP) has claimed that the agreement between government and Tahir-ul-Qadri was all a big drama.
Speaking to a private news channel, Nabeel Gabol said, “I have spoken to a few MNAs myself who were present in Tahir-ul-Qadri’s container, all of them had signed the agreement with fake signatures.”
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri had staged a Long March and sit-in protest in Islamabad to “over-throw” the government and bring real democracy to Pakistan.
However, after a meeting between Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and a team of ten (10) high-profile ministers from various allied parties of President Zardari’s government, a charter was signed, consequently bringing an end to the Long March.
After this revelation by PPP leader Nabeel Gabol, it is unclear if the pact between Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and the government still holds any value or is it merely a piece of paper with fake signatures on it.
