PESHAWAR: Provincial General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-azam (PML-Q), Intikhab Khan Chamkani here on Tuesday welcomed the nomination of Justice (Retd) Tariq Pervez Khan as caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
In a press statement issued here, he said Justice (Retd) Tariq Pervez, who was retired as judge of Supreme Court and also remained the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court, was a neutral personality and would ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
He expressed the hope that he would utilize all energies for progress and prosperity of the province. He said the nomination of Justice (Retd) Tariq Pervez was reflection of people’s aspirations and was the best available choice for the office of caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
He assured all out support to the designated caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa in resolution of peoples’ problems.
