KARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the re-election at 43 polling stations of NA-250 Karachi to be held on May 19, on Tuesday.
ECP has ordered the returning officers to hold re-elections on May 19.
The re-polling will be held at the stations where polling was delayed, or stopped due to massive irregularities.
Re-polling on PS-112 and PS-113 will also be held on May 19.
The ECP also ordered re-counting of votes in NA-154 Lodhran constituency.
On the day of election, polling at a number of stations in the DHA and Clifton areas of NA-250 saw a delayed start and political parties claimed that rigging was underway. Therefore ECP stopped the electoral process in those polling stations.
