ISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Secretary Najmuddin Shaikh has said that India wants to resolve all outstanding issues with the next government of Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he added that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expected to sign Lahore like declaration with Nawaz Sharif to address the issues between the two countries.
He maintained that Sir Creek and Siachen issues could be resolved between Pakistan and India.
He added that Islamabad and New Delhi should work for the promotion of trade relations.
He added that negotiations could also be held on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir as well.
