KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) will organize today public referendum across the country including Azad Kashmir in connection with its decision whether to join Sindh government or not.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain yesterday directed the party’s coordination committee to hold a nationwide referendum in three days to decide if the party should join the Sindh government or instead sit on the opposition benches in the provincial assembly.
Special camps will be set up at all party’s provincial, district and zone and sector and unit offices across the country including Karachi.
After completion of the referendum, the party will decide its future course of action whether to join the provincial government or not.
The party will prepare its plan for the future after holding referendum.
