LAHORE: PML-N lawmaker in the Punjab Assembly Rana Mohammed Arshad on Thursday said Nandipur Power project would help phase out loadshedding from the country.
Talking to APP at the Punjab Assembly premises he said , “It’s indeed a big achievement of the Punjab government and the chief minister deserves full credit,” he added.
He said energy crisis was the core issue and the government was deterined to resolve it at all cost. He said, had the previous government taken steps, the country had not been suffering from worst loadshedding which, he said, not only made the life of common
man miserable but adversely affected the industrial sector.
He said, owing to hectic efforts of the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Chinese engineers had restarted work on Nandipur Power project.
Mr Arshad said Pakistan offered tremendous opportunities for Chinese investors, adding signing of various agreements between the two countries would usher in a new era of development in the country.
“PML-N leadership will honour its promise to ensure economic revolution in the country through its comprehensive agenda,” he said.
