ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Education Balighur Rehman has said the government is committed to enhance the quality of education and capacity of teaching staff in government education institutions in the country.
He said that it is the responsibility of state and constitutional right of every child to get quality education without territorial or gender discrimination.
The Minister said that the top priority of the government is to establish schools in remote areas of the country to provide equal opportunity to children for education.
Baligh said that “we put emphasis on quality of education and quality can only be achieved when the system of education is transparent, merit-based and well-functioning.”
Talking to private television channel, he said that the government has made the national plan to enhance the standard of education in the country.
He added that there would include the surprise inspections, monitoring,
evaluation and proper educational support (reward) for the deserving students.
He said that the government has formed a five-year plan to enhance the
education budget in coordination with all four provinces of the country.
