KARACHI: Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has condemned the killing of PPP workers in Quaidabad area of the city and urged the Government to nab killers immediately and bring them before a court of law.
Information Secretary of PPP City Area 128, Alam Khan Swati and his brother Aafreen Swati were attacked and injured with bullets on Monday evening.
Alam Khan Swati succumbed to his wounds whereas his brother is in critical conditions, said a statement from Bilawal House here on Tuesday.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said PPP workers have immensely suffered during dictatorial regimes while struggling for democracy and rights of people the country. PPP workers need to be protected from the elements directly or indirectly propped up by the undemocratic regimes.
He sympathized with the bereaved family and assured that the party would not leave them alone.
