ISLAMABAD: Minister for lnterior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Monday that all parties should join hands for making strict law to curb raping of minors.
He was replying to a question regarding the five year-old girl’s rape case in the National Assembly.
He said it was the moral duty of all political parties to amend or review the existing law regarding crimes against children.
The law should be amended to bring the rapists to justice and award them strict punishment, he added.
The minister said the perpetrators of this act were not human beings but beasts. They will be arrested soon and prosecuted under the law and given exemplary punishment, he added.
