ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party on Monday has submitted an adjournment motion in the Senate against the recent hike in prices of petroleum products.
According to details, all the ANP senators signed the motion and submitted to the Chairman Senate Nayyer Hussain Bukhari.
It is mentioned in the motion that recent hike in petroleum prices will increase the inflation and a common man will greatly be affected due to this.
Earlier on Sunday, ANP Senator Zahid Khan said that his party will submit adjournment motion in the Senate against increase in the prices of petroleum products.
All the major political parties of the country including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Jamat e Islami had strongly condemned this price hike.
