LAHORE: As Bilawal Bhutto Zardari turns 25 on Saturday. He is likely to be elevated as fully fledged chairman of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).
Talking to media on Friday, PPP General Secretary Sardar Latif Khosa said that Bilawal will turn 25 today and he will be elected as chairman of the party soon. He said that he was made patron in-chief earlier owing to being too young. “There are chances that he would compete for any national assembly seat,” he said.
“It is also likely Bilawal will be made opposition leader in the national assembly,” he added.
Following the Bilawal’s full chairmanship, Asif Ali Zardari, acting as the co-chairman, would be appointed as patron-n-chief of the party, Khosa said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Bilawal’s birthday will be celebrated throughout the country, while he will address the party workers in a meeting in Lahore on Saturday.
