KARACHI: A meeting of the committee monitoring targeted operation in Karachi has been underway at the Chief Minister House being presided over by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
Director General Rangers, Chief Secretary and I.G. Sindh police attending the meeting.
Paramilitary Rangers entered in no-go areas of Karachi after getting free hand from the government. The Rangers captured 30 suspects in its crackdown against criminals including extortionists and target killers.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders have expressed their reservations over the operation and decided to summon the session of Sindh Assembly to discuss the matter.
Moreover the provincial government has made major reshuffle in Karachi police and transferred four Additional I.Gs and 14 DIGs have been transferred. NNI
