KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the government will not allow any attempt meant to rattle and disturb the peace of Karachi; and, Pakistan People’s Party’s Karachi Division President Abdul Qadir Patel said Zafar Baloch was a longstanding worker of the party.
It should be mentioned here that CM Shah notified Abdul Qadir Patel at the Chief Minister House following the killing of Zafar Baloch. Patel asserted that PPP workers are angry over the assassination, as Baloch was an old worker of the party.
Abdul Qadir noted such an incident that took place immediately after the Rangers operation in Lyari, poses a big question to law-enforcement agencies.
Meantime, CM Qaim, condemning the killing of Zafar Baloch, called a report from Inspector General Sindh over the murder. He reiterated no conspiracy at spoiling the peace of the metropolis will be allowed to succeed.
