ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Muhammad Asif said that government would take all political parties on board for maintaining peace in Karachi.
He said that the government will evolve consensus among all the political parties for maintaining law and order situation in the country.
The minister said that the federal government was providing all kind of cooperation to the province for curbing criminal activities in the commercial hub city.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said that the government would demonstrate political will in attending the Cabinet meetings to maintain law and order situation in Karachi.
He said that continuous democratic process was needed to resolve all the issues including terrorism.
Replying to another question, he said that Cabinet meeting would take final decision regarding steps for peace in Karachi.
Khwaja Asif said that all political parties wanted strict action against the criminals without any discrimination to ensure government’s writ.
