ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has reiterated to make Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa an ideal for rest of the country in terms of better governance and provision of services to the masses.
He has stated that our legislative packages being promulgated by the provincial legislature for citizen’s right to information, anti-corruption regime, and system of effective local governments are exemplary that would establish a concrete foundation for real change in the province
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of KPK government’s “Free Emergency Treatment Service” at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawer, the Chairman has spoken out his heart to the nation and said, “I dream for the provision of free and effective healthcare to the masses all across the country, especially in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa as being provided in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital.”
“Quite like other provincial departments, we have devised a comprehensive policy package for all the healthcare institutions to reform their functions so that better facilities could be ensured for the people in KPK,” he said. According to him, more autonomy to the administration would help them improving the quality of services in public hospitals.
Greeting the people of Peshawer, Chairman PTI announced that emergency treatment at the hospital would be effective and free of cast and would be extended to other parts of the province too.
In his speech on the occasion, Mr. Khan has also quoted the comprehensive features of PTI’s revolutionary agenda in the provinces.
Underlining the corruption, Chairman PTI categorically stated that his party is committed to eradicate corruption and corrupt practices from the province for which we would leave no stone unturned.
“Establishment of sovereign and powerful “Accountability Cell” under an effective legislative package hails at the top of our agenda in the province through which we would ensure transparence and clean governance,” he said. He also said that our accountability system would be very effective and would leave no room for corrupt elements within the governing system.
“The landmark “Right to Information Bill” will supplement our efforts for transparency in the province and enable criticizes to hold their representatives accountable”, he asserted.
Chairman PTI narrated a new policy of installing close circuit cameras (CCTV) at all police stations in the province in order to make police’s functions efficient.
In his words, Mr. Khan applauded the efforts of Chief Minister and cabinet members to discourage protocols and luxury livings despite serious threats to their lives. Recognizing their efforts for better governance and provision of services to the masses he stated that he haven’t received any complaint of corruption against any of his party’s ministers.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Pervez Khattak and health minister Shakat Yousufzai also spoke on the occasion while a number of MPs participated the function.
During his day-long visit to the provincial capital, Chairman examined the performance of the provincial government. During meetings with the provincial administration, Chairman had been appraised that 1 billion had been released for “Free Emergency Treatment Services” in the provinces. He was also briefed about government’s vision for placing tourism infrastructure in different areas including Sawat, kaghan, Galyaat and Chitral.
During the meetings, Chairman advised the government to provide sports facilities to the youth of the province.
Chief Minister, on the occasion briefed Mr. Khan in detail about establishing new cities furnished with modern living in different parts of the province. Expressing satisfaction over provincial government’s proposals Chairman Imran Khan optimistically stated that these proposals would invite more investments in the province.
