KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has vowed that no compromise will be done on restoration of peace in Karachi and neither any politics will be involved over this issue here, media reports.
While heralding good news of better days coming ahead in Karachi, PM Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that he has come here with a clear decision that no politics will be allowed over lawlessness in the city.
The Prime Minister signaled an operation sans army during talks with media in Karachi, saying the Federal Cabinet will take the final decision over an operation in the metropolis on Wednesday (today).
Earlier, PM Sharif said in his address to traders and industrialists in Karachi that he has sworn of restoring peace in Karachi and others should support him in this great cause.
He added on the occasion that no compromise will be done over issue of Karachi peace and all stakeholders should eliminate their petty interests for this greater task.
PM Sharif assured full support of federal regime to Sindh government for restoration of peace in Karachi. He said they respect mandate of all political parties especially the MQM and PPP in Karachi.
