LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led Punjab government over political vengeance ceased the development funds of three members of Punjab Assembly belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The Punjab government has released funds to 22 MPAs hailing to its party but stopped the development funds of three PTI lawmakers including leader of the opposition in the provincial assembly, Mian Mahmudur Rasheed, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Dr Murad Raas.
The stoppage came after the release of millions of rupees funds to ruling party’s MPAs which was widely criticized by the victim party and allies also.
The district administration of Lahore has sought details of the funds from these PML-N affiliated provincial assembly members.
Every PML-N lawmaker has got Rs8.1 million funds and the immediate release of the funds has also been ordered.
