LAHORE: Outspread of dengue virus across Punjab has gone out of control despite tall claims of the provincial government and health authorities as seven more dengue cases surfaced across the province on Wednesday.
According to details, dengue virus was detected in seven patients in various hospitals of Punjab.
Punjab Health Department spokesman said that four dengue patients were admitted in Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi, one in Mayo, Hameed Latif and Allied Hospitals each.
The affected persons belong to Lahore, Muridke, Jhelum, Rahimyar Khan and Rawalpindi districts.
It should be mentioned that with recent dengue cases total number of dengue patients has reached to 156.
The provincial capital Lahore was affected most from the dreadful disease.
