LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammed Shahbaz Sharif Wednesday expressed grief and sorrow over the losses of precious human lives and property due to earthquake in various areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
In a statement, he said the Punjab government was fully share the woes of families who had been displaced because of earthquake.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had already directed the chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to provide every possible help and assistance to the affected people on a priority. Besides, he said the Punjab
government would send relief goods on emergent basis to the earthquake-hit people.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the departed souls with peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
