LAHORE: Wiping out terrorism from the country is the only guarantee for survival and stability of Pakistan and government is making all out efforts in this regard.
This was stated by Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif while speaking during his meeting with Canadian High Commissioner Mr Greg Giokas who called on him here on Monday.
The meeting disussed key issues of bilateral interests and enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.
Shahbaz said that Punjab government is using all available resources for swift development of the province and no compromise would be made over the issue.
He said to overcome the energy crisis, Punjab government is working on various alternate energy projects and it is hoped that soon the situation will be under control.
The Canadian High commissioner eulogized the commitment of PML-N led provincial government for development and to facilitate the people of Punjab.
