ISLAMABAD: In charge Dengue Control and Surveillance Cell Islamabad, Dr Najeeb Durrani has said that 43 dengue patients are admitted in the city hospitals at present.
In a press release issued here, he said 28 patients are in PIMS hospital, three in Federal Government Services Hospital (Poly Clinic), six in Capital Hospital, four in Shifa International and two in KRL, hospital.
He urged the citizens to take necessary preventive measures and keep their houses and surroundings clean and free from germs. Water canes and water tanks should be kept tightly covered with lids.
He told that public awareness drive against dengue is going on successfully in the rural areas and the lady health workers have conducted visits of 15019 houses and 468 schools to raise awareness about preventive measures.
