KARACHI: Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that his party is promoting the trend of consultation among the political parties to drag the country out of prevailing crises.
Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, Dr. Farooq Sattar said that anti-state elements were not only hurting the national economy but also damaging soft image of the country abroad.
He said that no political forces can solely resolve the problems faced by the country and all stakeholders have to join hands in this regard.
The MQM leader urged the government for consulting all political parties for nationwide consensus over the issues confronting stability and sovereignty of the country.
He said that Taliban should show flexibility in their stance and prepare to include them in the national mainstream.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that MQM desires all stakeholders to work together in the larger interests of the country setting aside political and personal differences.
