ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan Monday said that for the first time the political government had initiated a peace process in the tribal areas, which was sabotaged by the United States.
Speaking in the Lower House of the Parliament in the debate on drone attacks, Imran Khan said entire nation should be on one page and lodge a strong protest to the United States.
He said the Prime Minister should lead a massive protest demonstration so as to get a firm pledge from the United States against drone strikes.
Imran Khan said that the said PTI has always supported peace process of the government so that the challenges being confronted by the country should be addressed.
He said that some people are criticizing the persons who want to maintain peace in the country, adding that these people are not the friends of the Pakistan.
PTI chief said that Peshawar High Court had been given detail decision on the drone attacks and asked the federal government to stoppage the NATO supply but unfortunately the government the USA did not give any weight age of that decision.
“It was our right to lodge strong protest on drone attacks and invite all the parties to participate in that PTI protest on November 20,” Imran Khan added.
PTI chief said that with out maintaining law and order the economy of the country could not stable and the masses will not get any relief from the government.
