LAHORE: Lahore administration has started a crackdown against kite flying and kite sellers in the city on Monday, media reports.
According to reports, eighteen teams have also been formed to stop kite flying in the city after a two-year-old girl was killed yesterday.
The girl, Noor, was deeply wounded by the sharp kite string when she was going with her father on a motorcycle. She was taken to hospital but could not survive.
DCO asked the people of the city to inform the district government about the kite flying incidents so that the government could take action.
It is to be mentioned here that kite flying is banned across Punjab.
