KARACHI: The pillion-riding ban, imposed for two days of Muharram, has been extended for two more days, till Sunday’s midnight, in Sindh, media reports.
Sindh regime had imposed ban on pillion riding during two days of Muharram, 9th and 10th, for security purpose in the province.
An extra ordinary meeting of the top security officials was held in Karachi after conclusion of Muharram 10 processions on Friday, to ponder over security arrangements and ban on pillion riding.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over the performance of security men during Muharram days and decided to continue ban on pillion riding for two more days till end of the Soyem.
The Chief Secretary of Sindh issued notification, after the meeting, of two-day extension of pillion riding ban in the province.
This pillion-riding ban will continue till Sunday midnight across Sindh
