ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Senator Rehman Malik on Thursday said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would support the government’s stance on terrorism.
Talking to media outside the parliament, he said, “We are with government on all national issues and will support it stance on terrorism too”.
He said PPP will also support the government’s policy on drone attacks. “We believe that drone attacks are violation of the country’s sovereignty and we will support what ever the stance of the government on drone issue”. He said anti-country forces are trying to destabilize the country and present situation demanded nation to show unity.
To a question, he said, the country’s courts have given bail to former President Pervez Musharraf and PPP respects the courts.
Rehman Malik asked the Prime Minister to intervene to solve differences between government and opposition in senate.
