SWAT: Senator Amarjeet Malhotra of Awami National Party Friday alleged that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) was reluctant to take action against its own ministers due to fear of formation of forward bloc within the party.
Talking to reporters here, he criticized the policies of the PTI led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claiming personal interest were being given preference over the collective interest by the ruling class in the province.
He claimed PTI chief does not have the courage to take action against his own ministers involved in corruption due to fear of formation of forward bloc.
The sit in against the Nato supplies was nothing but mere an eye wash, he said adding, if the KP government really was interested in blockade of the Nato supplies, they could do it through an executive order.
The PTI government he said had pledged to hold local government elections in 60 days and it failed to honor its commitment made with the people during electioneering.
