ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday directed to expedite the formulation and promulgation of Anti-terror Laws.
The Prime Minister gave these directions in a meeting at Prime Minister House which reviewed the anti-terror laws in the country. The meeting reviewed the anti-terror legislation.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief of General Staff Lt. General Ashfaq Nadeem, DG ISI, DG MI and Secretaries of Interior and Law ministries.
The Prime Minister said,”there is no space for enemy aliens to attack innocent civilians and armed forces and they must be prosecuted with effectiveness.”
The Prime Minister said,”We will adopt coordinate strategy to root out the menace of terrorism.” He said that the civil administration and military were on the same page to tackle terrorists in Karachi, FATA and PATA.
