ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power, Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was committed to resolve all the challenges being faced by the country including energy crisis.
A sharp decrease in loadshedding was witnessed in the county after the PML-N came into power, he added.
Talking to a private TV channel, he stressed on the need to stop extra usage of electricity as it could play key role to overcome energy crisis.
To a question, Asif blamed dictatorial regimes responsible for Balochistan issues, saying that government was working to remove deprivations of the people of province.
Talking about former dictator Pervez Musharaf, he said that Musharaf had to face trial according to the article 6 of the constitution. He said that no body had any sympathy for Mushraf.
He said that Pakistan Army had played vital role in strengthening democracy after Pervez Musharaf as first democratic transition of power was took place in the history of Pakistan.
The minister expressed hope that new army chief would also work for strengthening institution and improving respect of army.
To a question regarding missing person, he said that the matter should be resolved according to the law. He said that former Musharaf regime was responsible for producing this challenge.
He said that PML-N government was making all out efforts for the supremacy of law in the country.
