ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Commerce and Textile, Engineer Khurram Dastgir has said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), government is taking steps to improve economy and trade sectors.
He said that PML-N government after coming into power had to face many challenges, adding that all out measures are being made to streamline the system to boost the trade and textile sectors.
Talking to Pakistan Television channel, he said that there is need to establish new industries so that jobs could be created for the benefit of the people of the country.
He said that issue of long hour loadshedding was resolved after paying circular debt, Khurram Dastgir said that several projects including wind power would start functioning soon.
He said that the construction of Diamir-Bhasha and Dasu dams would also help in generating electricity.
To another question, the state minister said that improving trade links with Afghanistan, India and Iran would strengthen economy.
State Minister said that Gawador Project would link Pakistan with other countries through trade.
He said that PML-N government is also taking all possible steps to provide relief to masses and for this purpose, economic reforms and legislation were being made to achieve the objectives.
