Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed to expedite the formulation and promulgation of anti-terror laws. The Prime Minister gave these directions in a meeting at PM House on Monday, which reviewed the anti-terror laws in the country. The meeting reviewed the anti-terror legislation.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Ashfaq Nadeem, DG ISI, DG MI and Secretaries of Interior and Law. The PM said there was no space for enemy aliens to attack innocent civilians and armed forces. “They must be prosecuted with effectiveness,” the PM added. The PM said “we will adopt co-ordinate strategy to root out the menace of terrorism. Civil administration and military are on the same page to tackle terrorist in Karachi, Fata and Pata,” he added.-PR
