KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has paid tribute to the people for observing a successful “youm-e-soug”.
According to a statement issued here on Saturday, Altaf Hussain demanded of the authorities to hold a judicial inquiry into the alleged killing of Salman Nooruddin and other innocent workers of the MQM.
He said that those responsible for killing of MQM’s workers should be brought to book.
Altaf Hussain thanked business community, transporters, petrol pump and CNG station owners and other people belonging to various walks of life for voluntarily suspending their activities on the call of the MQM.
He praised them for registering their protest in a peaceful manner.
