ISLAMABAD: Emergency meeting of Provincial Assembly will be held today on Friday, whereas the meeting held on Thursday accepted the delay of 120 days in passing Terrorism Ordinance 2013, Aaj News reported.
The meeting held on Thursday was led by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Federal Minister Zahid Hamid presented a request to delay the declaration of Terrorism Ordinance 2013 for 120 days on which MQM opposed.
According to the opposition party, delay in declaration on such Ordinance was not a good decision.
Announcing the decision in the Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq dismissed all the arguments of the opposition party and said that the Federal Minister had already sent a detailed file regarding the delay in the delegation. The Assembly has accepted to delay Terrorism Ordinance 2013 for 120 days, whereas Sherpao and Jamshed Dasti opposed the decision and protested in the Provincial Assembly.
