KARACHI: Three person belonging to a banned outfit died in Baldia Town and Lyari, whereas one accused died in Sohrab Goth during a Joint operation conducted by both police and Rangers.
Both Rangers and police have been conducting raids and search operations on daily basis to eliminate terrorism within the country. According to the police sources, exchange of fire took place in Lyari among the Rangers and the accused that eventually killed a most wanted criminal of Lyari gang war, Shah Mir Baloch.
Rangers also raided a house of people belonging to a banned outfit in the area of Itihad Town in Baldia, where exchange of fire took place, due to which two accused died. According to the Rangers sources, the accused were involved in Nazimabad firing on police constables.
On the other hand, some unknown men opened fire on Anti-Encroachment group, killing Deputy Director Muhammad Ishak. Four more persons were shot dead in different areas of the city.
