ISLAMABAD: Minister for State and Frontier Regions (SEFRON) Lieutenant General (Retd) Abdul Qadar Baloch Thursday expressed the hope that National Internal Security Policy (NISP) would help improve law and order in the country.
Talking to media outside the Parliament, he said, “Implementation of the National Internal Security Policy would be helpful eliminating terrorism and improved law and order”.
He said the government was sincere to continue the peace process, but the Taliban were not sincere to carry forward the same.
No one would be allowed to challenge the writ of government, he added.
Replying to a question, the minister said the Pakistan Army was capable to eliminate terrorists from the country.
Baloch said the government would take all possible steps to restore peace in the country.
