LAHORE: Country Head of Pepsi, Jehanzeb Qayyum Khan on Saturday presented Rs 2 million cheque to Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the help and assistance of earthquake victims of Balochistan.
The Chief Minister appreciated the humanitarian spirit of the philanthropists towards relief of earthquake affectees of Balochistan.
The Punjab government, he said, had sent relief items of millions of rupees for the calamity-stricken people of Balochistan, while blankets and quilts had also been dispatched under winter package.
He said that his helicopter remained engaged in relief activities in Awaran for one month, as helping the distressed people was a noble deed.
While, Jehanzeb Qayyum said that whether it was earthquake or flood, Punjab government had always remained in the forefront of relief activities, adding that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had proved that his heart beats in unison with the masses.
MNA Pervaiz Malik and Head of Corporate Affairs of Pepsi, Khuram Shah were also present.
